Our next planned trip was to the Kroller-muller sculpture museum, which surprised me as this particular exhibit was in the forest.... o_O with an area of 25 hectare and hosts more than 100 scultpures, and there was also some animal museums and a cycling track where you can use the bikes to go cycling aroung the area ( use of the bikes are free to all )
...wow is the word...
Took us a whole day to venture around the place...so very tired...
On with the tour!! And this time we went up the hill, (sort of reminded me of trekking through the forest in bukit shahbandar, made me miss home that time...)
This scene reminds me like being in a movie where people were hunted by evil hunters and killed brutally.... ( forgot what it was called tho ) it was quiet when we walked along and the wind was really strong that time...very creepy....better watch out for wolves (hehehe but we all knew there weren't any XP still better safe than sorry XD )
And we have arrived to the sculpture that we wanted to go to!!!
Again we don't really know what its called but it wrote
"Krijn Giezen, 1939
Kijk Uit Attention, 1986-2005
diverse materialen."
It was an amazing sculpture!! We had intended to go up at first, however it had to be cancelled because the entrance was blocked and there were cameras making sure that no one goes up the stairs.
Apparrently, last year someone went up and had an accident, details were classified...and since then going up the stairs were not allowed...
Tho, one of our tutors did manage to go on the stairs before the incident occured and she described that the experience of going up the stairs were intense, there was a sense of danger and adventure while going up and once she was up on the top the only thing as safety was the 3 glass walls surrounding the area, at first she was scared because it was a danger zone all round and it was like an instant death trap if there was one wrong move, but then she said the view was absolutely amazing! and it had felt as if she was floating on the top, it must have been a very breathtaking view...
Wow... me and my friends were a bit dissapointed of not being able to go up, we would love to go but as safety does come first we decided to just move on and enjoy the other exhibits there.
It's what i get for not wanting to learn how to ride a bike =(
*sigh*
For the next update it depends on my workload as i've got artworks and couple of units to hand in by this weekend, and the week after will be busy with our exhibition >_< but i will try to post bits of things once in a while okay =)
Over and out ( hunting wolves XD *evil laughter* )
